Sony has once again become the first to introduce an innovative device in its Internet TV. This device powered by Google TV combines both features of a regular TV and a PC to provide a unique way of delivering entertainment. As a TV device it can provide you with full HD 1080p resolutions which mean that you can enjoy clear and crisp movies. As an Internet device, it uses the services of Google TV to let you access popular Internet services such as Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and much more.

Here are some of its key features

  • Google TV ready, providing you with instant access to online content at no extra charge. (Internet subscription not included)
  • Edge type LED backlighting is used to provide a much more slimmer profile
  • Wi-Fi ready, no more messy Ethernet cables to connect your device to the Internet
  • Remote control app download available for iPhone or Android phone
  • Full QWERTY remote keypad
  • Intel Processor
  • Full 1080p resolution (1920×1080)

This device comes in 4 models to choose from

  1. 24 inch model ($599.99)
  2. 32 inch model ($799.99)
  3. 40 inch model ($999.99)
  4. 46 inch model ($1,399.99)

What’s great about this latest device from Sony is that you can now watch a movie and surf online at the same time. How is this convenient? Well let’s say you are watching an old movie and want some information regarding it, you can just search it on your TV as you watch.

The concept of an Internet TV is relatively new and if more people embrace this trend then more manufacturers will come up with their own models.

Firmware 3.10 went live earlier today, bringing with it Facebook integration facilities, a colour palette for your gamercard, and a more convenient way to view and manage pictures and photographs. Of course there was no mention of error 80022A07.

For anyone who has yet to encounter error code [80022A07], the code signifies a trophy synchronisation failure, and prevents you from accessing your profile. It also makes it impossible to change the colour of your gamercard.

Not everyone is experiencing it but if you are they say to just install firmware 3.10 and it should solve the problem “should” being the keyword here.

It’s nothing too exciting but a push in the right direction I think.
