The highly anticipated and highly desirable Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is available to pre-order from several retailers in the UK. One however offering you a great saving.

The Xperia X1, already released in Sweden, is due to hit the UK on the 31st of October at a high price of £599.99 ($1017.22) for the sim free Xperia handset. Pre-ordering from Play.com will save you a cool £100 ($169.54) for the sim free model.
