Biodegradable Sony Ericsson phone
Posted by SonyBrands-Bex on Oct 1, 2008 in News, Sony Ericsson Phones | 0 commentsSony Ericsson recently announced their GreenHeart concept phone. The GreenHeart phone is environmentally friendly and biodegradable.
Sony Ericsson are currently taking this concept phone to industry partners and customers. They will be helping design and develop the features of the phone.
Some photos of the first prototype of the phone have been released. While looks wise, it doesn’t match up with other Sony Ericsson models, but it also isn’t too bad considering it’s made out of recycled materials.
The housing will feature bio-plastic, while the keypad will be made from recycled plastic. The packaging will be environmentally conscious, while the manuals will come in HTML format. It will also come with a zero charger, with 3.5mw standby power.
We’re a few years away from this becoming reality, but for now, this concept is really a good idea and hopefully it will become a reality.
