Following on from the webcast video from Sony demonstrating the Xperia X1, we now have a release date from Sony Ericsson.


The X1 will initially be available in the UK, Germany and Sweden from the 30th of September. During Q4 of 2008 it will become available in more countries across Europe including Spain, Italy, France, Austria, Netherlands, Switzerland, Norway, Portugal, Belgium and Denmark. The X1 will also make it’s way to Asia and Latin America during Q4 of 2008. A release date for North America however has yet to be confirmed.
