The Sony Ericsson Yendo has only recently been revealed but, Mobique have already had a hands on with the phone. The Sony Ericsson Yendo is the company’s first phone from the refreshed Walkman range. Upon initial inspection, it appears that the Yendo is run on Android, like the Xperia X10 Mini which the handset resembles. With further inspection however, it’s revealed that the interface is only similar with regards to the four corner touch UI, which allows you to access the Walkman player, keypad, contacts and can be changed to access other features of the phone.

Sony Ericsson has developed a full touch Walkman phone- the Sony Ericsson Yendo. The phone is similar to the X10 Mini but, is however not an Android handset. The Yendo measures 93.5 x 52 x 15.8 mm and weighs 81 grams

The phone features a 2.6 inch touchscreen with 240 x 320 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 720 MHz processor and comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack connector.

Other features include a 2.0 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, FM Radio, Speakerphone, micro USB connector and an A2DP Bluetooth Stereo. The phone also offers 5 MB of internal memory. The battery supports 3.5 hours of talktime and 312 hours of standby.
