Praise Jesus for saving us from video game violence! Some folks up in Maine didn’t take kindly to No Russian. The Maine Christian Civil Leage (MCCL) condemns the game, saying that “any decent citizen ought to ban it.” The game being Modern Warefare 2.
Here is what they have to say about the level and game:
“The ready availability of drugs, violent video games, and outrageous rock music is a witch’s brew which will eventually lead to tragedy here in Maine.”

Activision is reporting that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has sold $310 million, about 4.7 million units, in its first day debut in North America and the United Kingdom. This makes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 the biggest entertainment launch in history

This is exciting news for PS3 owners. Gordon Vandyke Associate Producer of the game announced that The multiplayer for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 starts November 19, exclusively for the PS3. You can check the announcement out here
According to the announcement from EA Games the players are going to enjoy the huge “Arica Harbour” map using “Rush” game mode in which 24 players compete to secure valuable crates using vehicles and infantry combat. The full game will feature four multiplayer modes. You can get the key to access the beta by pre-ordering the game at selected retailers.

Many CoD-ers have been expressing fears that when they receive their copy of Modern Warfare 2 that they will be at the bottom of the barrel on the leadboards. Robert Bowling of Infinity Ward has let us all know that all will be reset , creating a fair playing field for all those who had to wait to play the game.
I am all for people getting games early, but not for the sake of getting ahead of everyone else.
