Sony have released a new Bravia TV, which just from the TV specifications is a great deal. The Sony Bravia KDL-22PX300 features a 22 inch display, along with four HDMI ports, two USB ports, SCART socket, component ports, two Ethernet ports, PC input and built in freeview. Most TVs with these kind of specifications go for at least £250, for a quality brand at least and that many connections. The KDL-22PX300 on the other hand, goes for a very reasonable £200.

Valve made a well recieved announcement at E3 2010 in the form of the revelation that Portal 2 will be coming to the PlayStation 3 in 2011 and the PS3 version is set to be, according to Gabe Newell the “best on any console”.
Surprising words as Newell, Valve and Sony have been less than friendly towards each other in the past with regards to the lack of commitment Valve have shown in developing games for the PS3.
The PS3 version of Portal 2 will have Steam support as the Valve announcement also claimed that “Steam will be part of the experience”. Portal 2 will then be updated via Steam on the console.

The PlayStation 2 which turns 10 this October has been officially removed from the NPD charts. The NPD Group tracks sales of video games hardware and software. Sony’s system has finally slowed down after a good 10 year run.

“It’s interesting but not unexpected,” IGN PlayStation Executive Editor Greg said. “The PlayStation 2 turns 10 years old in October. Although the system is still selling well, it’s clear that its best days are behind it and Sony’s focusing on the PlayStation 3 and PSP. PS2 games are few and far between, so it’s time to get on with our lives. Well done, PS2. Enjoy retirement.” The

Sony are to release wireless versions of their popular SingStar microphones which are touted as being “easy to pass around”. The wireless microphones will be compatible with both the PS2 and PS3 and have already been tested by the “SingStar Community”. The wireless mics were given a status of excellent or very good by 99% of the participants.
The SingStar wireless microphones will go on sale in the UK from the 20th of March, with the release of SingStar Pop Edition following in April available for the PS3.
