Sony will be putting a new lease of life into the current LittleBigPlanet game, which is also welcomed among Marvel fans. Marvel costumes will be coming to the game, allowing you to transform your Sack Boys and Girls into Sack Superheroes. More details and artwork on the costumes will be released tomorrow over at Marvel.com and the costumes will be available starting from July 7th. Initially four costume packs will be released, with five different costumes. New packs will then be released every other week after this. While more information will be provided on the costumes from tomorrow, we do have a list of what costumes are planned for release:

The first batch of Downloadable Content for Rockstar’s Western, Red Dead Redemption has been released on the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The DLC, named Outlaws to the End Co-Op Mission Pack, as the name suggests adds more levels for co-operative play and competitive multi player. The pack brings in six new missions;
“Walton’s Gold”
Walton’s Gang have taken control of a mining camp rich with gold. Fight through the camp and load your mine cart with as much gold as you can carry and get out as fast as you can – Walton’s boys have rigged the place to blow!

Sony Computer Entertainment said that the number of registered accounts on the PlayStation Network (PSN) has crossed the 50 million mark around the globe. These are latest figures as of 14th June 2010.

The PSN has expanded globally since its launch in November 2006 and offers services in more than 58 countries worldwide. The first year saw less than 6 million users. It took a year and eight months to touch the 10 million mark. The third year saw rapid growth and the PSN had clocked 20 million users in two years and three months from its launch and this grew to 50 million in just three years and eight months.

Sony has revealed an all in one Surround Sound System for the PlayStation 3. The system will be launched in Japan, North America, Europe and Asian regions in fall this year. It has a sleek and casual design which reduces storage space and comes with a built in sub-woofer.

Sony is offering all its PS3 customers an opportunity to watch MLB TV for free. This offer will be made available through this weekend.

Users will be able to watch all the live MLB matches. They will also have the opportunity to view all past games.
