The first Map Pack for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 has finally been released on the PS3. The Map Pack was previously released on Xbox 360 and was a 360 exclusive for a couple of weeks but, now PS3 owners will get to experience the extended multiplayer as well.
The Stimulus Map pack brings you two maps from Call of Duty 4; Crash and Overgrown. There’s also three new maps to play on; Storm, Salvage and Bailout. To celebrate the release of the map pack, all players on all playlists will receive double XP. The map pack costs $14.99.

Praise Jesus for saving us from video game violence! Some folks up in Maine didn’t take kindly to No Russian. The Maine Christian Civil Leage (MCCL) condemns the game, saying that “any decent citizen ought to ban it.” The game being Modern Warefare 2.
Here is what they have to say about the level and game:
“The ready availability of drugs, violent video games, and outrageous rock music is a witch’s brew which will eventually lead to tragedy here in Maine.”

Call of Duty: World at War game developer Treyarch and publisher Activision have announced a new iPhone game, based on the Zombies gameplay mode from COD: WaW, is now available.
Details from Activision:
“Call of Duty: World at War: ZOMBIES offers both single player and the game’s highly-addictive co-op gameplay experience in full 3-D, allowing up to four players to join a game via Wi-Fi, locally or across the Internet, and up to two players via Bluetooth, all on the go!”
You can look foward to new maps as time goes on.

Activision is reporting that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has sold $310 million, about 4.7 million units, in its first day debut in North America and the United Kingdom. This makes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 the biggest entertainment launch in history

Many CoD-ers have been expressing fears that when they receive their copy of Modern Warfare 2 that they will be at the bottom of the barrel on the leadboards. Robert Bowling of Infinity Ward has let us all know that all will be reset , creating a fair playing field for all those who had to wait to play the game.
I am all for people getting games early, but not for the sake of getting ahead of everyone else.
