Sony’s superthin OLED TV

Continuing on from the XEL-1, Sony have unveiled a prototype of a new OLED TV which is a third of the thickness of the XEL-1.
This prototype OLED will be based off of the XEL-1 model, and will come with the same 11 inch screen. The screen panel however is much smaller at 0.3mm, less than one millimetre.
While many would have preferred a bigger screen size, we may see more 11″ OLEDs from Sony before a larger OLED arrives. As of yet there is no word on when a larger one will be released.
It’s unknown when this superthin OLED TV will be released.
