Despite it’s size, it’s no netbook which is clear from the specs and the price.


The Sony Vaio TT will come with an 11.1 inch display in a carbon fiber chassis less than one inch thick and weigh in at 2.87 pounds. The Vaio TT will come in several models with various specifications.

The Vaio TT comes with an XBRITE-DuraView LCD, 160GB hard drive, optional 256GB SSD (two 128GB SSDs), Intel Centrino 2, HDMI output and will come with Windows Vista OS. The Vaio TT will come in silk black, crimson red, champange gold and carbon black with a starting price of around $2000. The model with built in Blu-Ray will be sold for $2700 and the SSD version for $2750. Sony will start shipping the Vaio TT in the fall.
