When an update was released for the Sony Ericsson Satio, it was supposed to fix several issues users had discovered. Upon updating however, the problems still persisted for me and for many others. Since then we’ve also had many people looking at our Satio problems listed post, indicating that despite being out for 6 months, the phone is still riddled with problems.

Sony Ericsson have recently released another firmware update which brought new features to the phone but, it seems to have brought more issues with it. Since the update, users have been able to shoot videos in widescreen at WVGA. Or at least, were supposed to be able to do that now. Users are finding that when filming in WVGA and saving to the memory card, the video stops and starts, which is evident in both recording and playback.

We’ve also had a report of the 12 megapixel camera turning itself on. The lock switch issue is also still persisting, with Leigh-Anne resorting to turn the phone off, only to find the screen stays white upon restart.
