Sony Ericsson announces Xperia X3 under new name
Posted by Bic on Nov 3, 2009 in News, Sony Ericsson Phones, Xperia | 17 commentsThe time’s finally arrived, Sony Ericsson have officially announced the Android powered Xperia handset. We first heard of the handset under the codename of Rachael, which later became known as the X3. Rumours had started flying that the handset had been renamed to the X10 and with the announcement from Sony Ericsson, we can confirm this is correct.
Along with using Android as the operating system, it will also use a unique Sony Ericsson UX platform on top of the Android OS. The X10 will be the flagship phone of 2010 with release slated for the first half.
The X10 will be released in selected markets in Q1 in white or black. You can view the press release here and the X10 page here.
