Playstation 3 Review

Playing games and having fun has always been a favourite past time of a lot of people. Today, the most popular form of playing games is playing video game consoles which have evolved from a simple computer program to a complex, real-like world environment. One of the latest game consoles out today is Sony’s Playstation 3.

The Playstation 3 is Sony’s entry to the current next generation gaming console battle against Microsoft and Nintendo. It is the third of its series and the PS3 is the biggest so far. Even though it’s big, the design is truly elegant and beautiful. But it is not the beauty that is important, but the performance.

At the heart of the new Playstation lies a cell processor jointly created by IBM, Toshiba and Sony with 3.2 GHz of pure power. With that much computing power, even the most hardcore computer gamer would drool. The graphics is delivered by an RSX Reality Synthesizer.

With all that technology, starting up the PS3 is no problem at all. Even if you do not read the manual first you could start it up. The main menu closely resembles the PSP’s main menu. Next are the games for the PS3. The games are great and just look awesome. The powerful processors did what it is expected out of such power.

The Playstation 3 is a powerful and wonderful machine. Sony has concentrated on enhancing graphics and performance of the gaming console and sticks with the other things that has proven to work like the shape of the remote control.
